Gesine Hermann
Director of Chemistry
Dr Gesine Hermann has over 13 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She joined ChemOvation in 2002 as a senior scientist and has been involved in a number of medicinal chemistry projects.
Prior to this, she has:
Gained experience in process development and production scale chemistry with Cambrex Ireland and Evotec.
Graduated from the University of Frankfurt and obtained her PhD from the University of Heidelberg followed by post-doctoral research at the University of Oxford.

has been part of ChemOvation from the very start and has 20 years biological research
and drug discovery experience with an international pharmaceutical company as well as business administration experience from academic study:
Diploma in Management Studies from Brighton University, Sussex, UK
At Ciba-Geigy and Novartis, senior team member of Peptide Metabolism group, Thrombosis Research and Advanced Drug Delivery Research Unit specialising in pharmacokinetics, gene expression and drug transport across the GI Tract.
