investigating the kinetics, thermodynamics, combinatorial
chemistry and molecular modelling of small molecule
drug candidates.
At Ciba-Geigy,
Senior Scientist in the department of Thrombosis
Research and Section Leader in Advanced Drug Delivery
Research Unit specialising in biochemical drug targeting.
Part of the team
at Amersham International that discovered Ceretec,
Amersham's blood brain barrier perfusion agent.
Ian

and books.

Dr Linda Hugl has been part of ChemOvation from the very start and has 20 years biological research
and drug discovery experience with an international pharmaceutical company as well as business administration experience from academic study:
Diploma in Management Studies from Brighton University, Sussex, UK
At Ciba-Geigy and Novartis, senior team member of Peptide Metabolism group, Thrombosis Research and Advanced Drug Delivery Research Unit specialising in pharmacokinetics, gene expression and drug transport across the GI
tract.
Alexina
Berwick
Sales and Marketing
Manager
Alexina Berwick
joined ChemOvationin 1999 after obtaining a BSc
(Hons) in Medicinal Chemistry from University College
London. She worked as a synthetic organic chemist for
several years before commencing marketing studies.
Alexina then worked as a marketing executive for a
private healthcare company for seven years. Her role
covered many marketing functions including national
co-ordinator for company marketing literature and
website editor. Alexina re-joined ChemOvation in her
current role in September 2010.
